About

Ghazaleh
Pourmojib

She began her creative education in Iran before immigrating to the United States, where she earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Marketing from Cal State San Bernardino. Her commercial career spans editorial photography, graphic design, and media production — with ongoing collaborations with Palm Springs Life Magazine and Visit Greater Palm Springs, and work alongside agencies and nonprofits across the Coachella Valley.

Her fine art practice is a different conversation. Symbolism-driven and often politically charged, it draws on her experience as an Iranian immigrant navigating the 21st century — the friction between identity and expectation, between where you're from and where you've landed. A recurring motif runs through her pieces: fish heads on human bodies, each telling a different story.

It's work designed to generate questions, not answers.

She lives and works in Palm Springs.
